15th Annual Job Fair, August 25, 2017

The Job Fair was amazing with 48 employers hosting booths and 297 attendees.  Thank you to all the employers, volunteers, Parents Working Committee members, Productive Staffing for lunch and to Three Rivers College for the Bess Activity Center.  What a great event for our community.  It could not happen without all of our community partners working together.

On July 10, 2017, Karen Crook accepted the 2017 Community Partner of the Year Award from Shawn Sando, CEO, FCC Behavioral Health in Kennett, Missouri.  The award was presented to the Butler County Resource Council for effective collaboration to meet the wellness needs of person living in our community

CRC Annual Partnership Luncheon

The 25th Anniversary of the Butler County Community Resource Council was observed on February 24, 2017 at the Annual Partnership Luncheon held at Fellowship General Baptist Church.  Eighty-five community leaders attended the luncheon including Butler County Commissioners Lampe, Anderson and LeGrand, Senator Doug Libla and Speaker of the House Todd Richardson.  Former Representative Mark Richardson presented the keynote address taking the attendees back to the inception of the Butler County Community Resource Council in 1992.  At the luncheon, Austin Montague was named 2016 Person of the Year.  Mr. Montague was recognized for his tireless work in the field of substance addiction.  He is the chairperson of the We Can Be Drug Free Coalition of the Butler County Community Resource Council.
