Private Probation Services |

The Butler County Community Resource Council has contracted with the 36th Judicial Circuit to provide private probation court services in Butler and Ripley Counties. Private Probation Services' offices are located at 113 South Broadway, 573-785-7969 in Poplar Bluff and at 104B Washington Street, 573-351-1490 in Doniphan. Five staff members work with court ordered misdemeanor cases in the two counties. Betty Woods, Max Clodfelter, Tracy Ketcherside and Lori Davis work out of the Poplar Bluff office and Angie Swindle in in Doniphan. Through Private Proabtion Services, the Butler County Community Resource Council established a Community Grant Making Program with the funds collected through the probation services. In September, a total of $2,400 was awarded to non-profits in Butler County.
