Missouri Reentry Process
The Missouri Reentry Process District 25 Taskforce was established to address the needs of offenders returning to our community from Missouri correctional centers. Eliminating barriers in order to successfully reintegrate into society has become a priority of the Taskforce. Housing, transportation and employment are the major barriers. Over $400,000 in grant funding has been acquired to reduce barriers in these areas. The Taskforce supports a bi-monthly Reentry Opportunity Coalition (ROC), where service organizations, educational opportunities, mental health services, transportation services, employment and health services come together to meet with offenders in a one-stop shop atmosphere.
